This house was steeped in history and we wanted the garden to reflect that. Unfortunately when the history was being made the garden was in fact a car park which meant there was very little for us to use. We therefore had to create our own history and use this as a foundation for the design. Natural stone walls give the illusion that there was something there before and we have simply created a garden within and around them.
